If the house is the 'pot of life', the public space is the living environment of citizens, Public furniture can play a key role in shaping the living environment of a city.

In areas of great urban density residents are looking forward for short time stand places. In open public spaces, such as squares, there is a need for a longer stay.As a result of all these, is designed the 'flux'. Four different types of sitting and standing are formed from three hollow metal beams, which flow in the city. These four different forms, are placed in an array, they are interchangeable and they produce multitude different types of sitting and standing. The 'flux' in the central areas of metropolitan Athens, can serve as a seating for quick stops, as a separator between roads and pedestrian space and also as lighting fixture.

The flux structure is broken down into two parts. The frame is composed of metal hollow profiled elements, and three hollow elliptical beams with integrated lighting elements.
